Kupu Kupu Phangan Beach Villas & Spa

This was the BEST resort we stayed in Thailand. The service was outstanding as the staff goes above and beyond to our needs. The room was stunning and the view of the pool, beach, and sunset was breathtaking.

An absolutely magical stay. Beautiful, spacious rooms, exceptional service, and a perfect location. The incredible team — Nonoe, Poam, Jojoe, Lin, Pza, San, Ziny, Mickey, Bank, and AD — made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for every single day. Their warmth, kindness, and true Thai hospitality turned this stay into an unforgettable experience we will always remember.

From the moment we arrived, every single staff member made us feel genuinely cared for- not just as guests, but as people. Each of you went above and beyond every single day, always smiling, always remembering the small details and always making sure we were comfortable and happy.It didn’t feel like “hotel service”, it felt warm, personal and real. You can tell the team actually cares about their guests, and that makes such a difference.The villas are beautiful, peaceful and perfectly maintained, the views are stunning and the atmosphere is pure relaxation.We left with amazing memories and honestly felt sad to leave. Location isn’t the best but we didn’t want to leave the hotel so it was fine for us

Amazing hotel we really enjoyed our stay !The location is great, the room was very spacious and quiet. The view in the morning is just outstanding. The staff are so nice and helpful. The reception manager Andy is amazing he helped us plan our day every morning, the tips he gave us really helped us when the weather was not so good.Breakfast was absolutely fantastic!

The room was too dark when there was no daylight.No full body mirror.

Nice staff, the view from the room, the villa was big, beautiful and comfortable.

The shower was with low pressure, and there was no water pipe, only douche. Also we didn’t know there is a breakfast menu , the staff gave us the menu in the last day and it was quite disappointing

The hotel is beautiful, with a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.The restaurant team was so kind and helpful, and the food was delicious every time. The spa staff were also amazing – the treatments were perfect and so relaxing.One of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at. We’ll definitely come back!

Our bungalow was perfect, and the entire team is exceptionally well managed and genuinely attentive to guests. You truly feel welcome here, and the outstanding cuisine only deepens that sense of hospitality. Congratulations on creating such a remarkable experience — we will definitely be back.

Everything was perfect — and if anything tiny fell short, it was swiftly taken care of thanks to the seamless communication via WhatsApp.

The outdoor area is beautiful and has a great view of the sea. The staff at the restaurant was great (though a bit difficult to communicate with) and the food was good.There are great restaurants very close by.

Value for money isn't really good. The facilities are quiet outdated and not maintained well. The room was very dark and lacks lighting. The furniture is old and some are in bad shape. The fridge in the room isn't really cooling and water constantly leaks. The private pool isn't really private, we got a room that was right next to the main pool and has no privacy at all.Room make up missed a lot, didn't refill the drinking water, nor the soap that was empty. Didnt even replace a dirty pillowcase. Bottom line, the price is very high for a very mediocre value.

Good location, beautiful villa, great staff.

The property is adjacent to a very noisy club “Amsterdam”, and the music sometimes until 23:00 was really annoying !!!!!

We stayed in a beachfront villa which was beautiful to wake up to with a glorious sea view .The staff are so so helpful and cater for your every need .Food in the restaurant was amazing - the Thai dishes were the best we have had .Breakfast was first class too .I would definitely recommend this hotel for a chill in paradise!

Great location, lovely staff, beautiful sunset

The resort is very tired and in need of refurbishment. For the price it was nowhere near good enough. Room wasn’t very clean, no turndown (despite me asking for one three times in a four night stay), filthy menus, no attention to detail at all. On one occasion I received a ‘turndown’ that involved dumping some chocolates and water outside the villa in 30C heat. Cups, jugs and glasses were not cleared away but taken from inside the room and left on tables outside the villa. I’m very surprised L’Occitane are willing to be associated with this chain.

Lovely hotel. The stay there was very pleasant. The room, which is actually a small villa, was very beautiful with a pool and by the sea. We rented a motorbike from the hotel and it was really comfortable to go around the island with it. We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel and we highly recommend it
